Maintenance of moss

One of the most common questions from our customers is, does moss need maintenance?

No. Moss is maintenance free! It does not need any care, watering, light, constant temperature range, etc.

Moss thrives in all conditions and is suitable for all spaces. It breathes with space.

When moss is located in extremely dry rooms (we are talking about the percentage of moisture in the atmosphere that falls below 38%, 35%), the moss dries out, as it releases its moisture into the room. Then it becomes hard and crumbly to the touch. In this case, leave it and do not touch it. In such cases, we recommend that you install a humidifier in the room, not so much because of the moss, moss can persist indefinitely in such a dry environment, a higher percentage of moisture is more important for you, your respiratory system, health and subsequent well-being.

If you yourself judge that such dry air is not unfavorable for you, you can occasionally (in case of curious visitors who will definitely want to touch this magical structure of moss) spray the moss with a gentle mist using a hand sprayer.
